What is CAbi clothing?
The CAbi clothing range was started by former Nordstrom designer Carol Anderson. Anderson found that customers and fans of her existing work would often come to her with requests for more varieties of clothing sizes, or to design clothing that was more affordable for the every day woman. In addition, Carol was receiving interest from many women who wished to branch out and start their own home-based business. It was through a combination of these two factors that Carol Anderson by Invitation (CAbi for short) was born.
What is a CAbi Home Party?
You might be asking yourself: "What, exactly, is a CAbi Clothing home party?" Well, there are three main forces driving the CAbi home party philosophy: Fashion, Friends and Fun! A CAbi home party aims to unite these three elements by creating a fashion experience where women can view and try on the latest Carol Anderson designs, in the comfort of a home environment. Parties are held by request of the Hostess, the person who kindly opens up their home to friends and family as the location for the CAbi party to be held, and who helps provide the atmosphere for the evening ahead.
The party is not complete without the CAbi Consultant, who sets up shop in the home of the Hostess. The Consultant's role is to bridge the gap between the customers and the clothing range. In essence, the Consultant is like a personal shopper for the guests, providing suggestions, recommendations, and arranging ordering and delivery of the clothes.
CAbi tries to emphasize the "fun" side of buying clothing through home parties - and this is mostly created by an environment where women can meet and feel comfortable trying on the clothes and demonstrating them in front of one another. Instant feedback about the clothing can be provided by the guests at the party, an advantage over shopping for clothing the "traditional" way. Some fine wine and nibblies are the final ingredients in the mix - shake and stir and you've got yourself an exciting, new way to buy fashion.
Should I host a CAbi home party?
